The Weary Guest Book
"Hi Ian and Gill, Just so you know in black and white...we had the best wedding ever! We couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect. A thousand thank yous for making it such a special day for us. We knew we had had some good nights at the Weary so we thought it would be a great venue for the wedding but it was an absolutely fantastic venue!
So many people have told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. It was so lovely that you just let us take over and everyone was catered for. The food and drink were excellent and the rooms were beautiful. I think everyone was given a tour of the rooms by Sally at some point in the day! We've been looking back at the video and everyone looks so happy on it. All Mike and I wanted was to give everyone a great day out and they certainly got that!
My most vivid memory of the day was Mike singing Sweet Caroline and the entire room waving and singing "reaching out and touching you"!!! I of course had a birds eye view as i'd abandoned my shoes long before and was up on the couch singing along too. The speeches behind the bar were great fun and I did quite like my 5 minutes of being a bar girl so just give me a shout if you're ever under staffed! Thank you for everything. Could we have a first anniversary party to top that?!!"
