This unique family run Cumbrian Hotel offers fabulous food, local cask ale, wines and Champagne by the glass. Our experienced team of chefs have prepared a comprehensive range of menus containing dishes with flavours that have their origins from all over the world.

Always using the best possible ingredients, local Cumbrian meat and game is some of the best, always available and very popular. However, we do have regular guests who compliment the chef’s flexibility in creating interesting dishes for Vegans, vegetarians and special dierty needs.

Our menus change regularly to take advantage of local seasonal produce.

The Weary has three dining areas, which means it is very flexible for various styles of event including commercial events and meetings. So, whether it is a private dinner, birthday party, anniversary dinner, christening or wedding. We welcome the opportunity to chat to you to discuss your particular requirements.

We are happy to cater for Coach Parties of walkers looking for lunch, afternoon tea, snacks or dinner by prior arrangement. This includes outside normal hours to suit your timing.
